Ronan the Accuser (simply referred to as Ronan or the Accuser) is the main antagonist of the 2014 film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1.

Ronan has a thirst for vengeance against the Xandarians for the lives of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather after the one-thousand year war between the Nova Empire and the Kree Empire. He became a servant for Thanos and began going on killing sprees, one of them being Drax's family.

Ronan is portrayed by Lee Pace.

Early life Edit

Ronan was descended from a family, where his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were killed by Xandarians during the war. He began slaughtering families, one of them being Drax's family (causing Drax to commit crimes across the galaxy). He also trained Gamora and Nebula, Thanos' daughters. When he learned there was a peace treaty was signed between both the Xandarian and Kree Imperial leaders, Ronan revealed himself to be an ally of Thanos. However, he only became Thanos' associate because he was the one who promised Ronan that he would destroy Xandar if the Kree maniac had caught the Orb that contained the Power Stone. He was given the services of Thanos' daughters. Gamora and Nebula.

Guardians of the Galaxy Edit

One day he was bathing and negotiated with a Xandarian prisoner, where the Kree had told the Xandarian officer of the heated rivalry between the two races and preceded to kill the Xandarian prisoner he had, claiming he wouldn't want to rule Xandar. He would want to cleanse the world of Xandarians and kill many innocent people
